How we ship out of three warehouses without anyone noticing
Bristol, Manchester, and our new Belfast hub each carry different SKUs. The checkout splits the parcel under the hood.
by Boxhaus OperationsStocking every line in every warehouse would tie up about £2.4M of capital we'd rather invest in custom-print capacity. So we don't — Bristol carries mailers, Manchester carries corrugated, and Belfast handles consumables. When you order a kraft mailer and a pallet of stretch wrap on the same PO, our checkout splits the shipment automatically: you see the split-shipment summary at the review step, both parcels ship the same working day from their respective hubs, and you get two tracking numbers in one confirmation email. No 'item on backorder' rabbit hole.
