A no-fail sourdough toast

For when you have one slice of overnight sourdough left, half a tin of olive oil, and an egg.

A no-fail sourdough toast

Heat a dry pan. Toast the slice on both sides — no oil yet. While it's hot, rub it with a halved garlic clove. Drizzle with the olive oil. Put a fried egg on top. Crack pepper and a few flakes of the Mara salt. Done.
